EquipmentShare is Hiring a Financial Systems Analyst (Bistrack)

EquipmentShare is searching for an Bistrack Analyst for our corporate Financial Systems Analytics team, which is part of the Business Analytics department. This new team member may be based anywhere in the United States and offers a remote/hybrid work option. Our corporate headquarters are in Columbia, MO with satellite corporate offices in Denver, CO and Kansas City, MO. As an Epicor Analyst, you will use your accounting and data expertise to act in a functional/technical role to help implement and effectively use Epicor BisTrack software for Equipmentshare’s Forge Build division. Projects are wide ranging and could include anything from supply chain, procurement, payment, pricing, billing, general ledger, user and system controls. This new team member will solve problems and provide insights that directly impact the company.

Primary Responsibilities / Qualities for a Financial Systems Analyst

  • Configure and maintain the Epicor BisTrack ERP system.

  • Ensure Epicor BisTrack accounting and operational data integrates into EquipmentShare’s accounting software.

  • Partner with division leadership to understand their processes, communicate the system’s capabilities, plan consistent desired actions, and provide data to drive them.

  • Understand how each area of the system affects other areas with an emphasis on accounting impacts and treatment.

  • Lead business process change discussions and ensure that the impacts of any changes are communicated to all areas that may be affected.

  • Identify internal and external resources to resolve business application issues.

  • Understand user behaviors and the feasibility of projects. This will require a deep understanding of accounting, processes, and applications.

  • Create reports and dashboards to share the results of your findings with branches, departments, or executive leadership.

  • Take manual processes and automate them.

  • Be a team player. Be willing to pivot on tasks to deliver the most important company needs.

Skills & Qualifications for a Financial Systems Analyst

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Computer Science or other technical degree. Coding and/or Accounting Certifications will also be considered.

  • At minimum 1 year of experience implementing/maintaining Epicor BisTrack

  • Experience performing ETL

  • BI Dashboard experience (Looker preferred, but not required)

  • Comfort working in a highly agile and fast paced environment

  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

  • Effective communication skills: Regularly achieve consensus with peers, explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and provide clear status updates

  • Self-motivated and self-managing, with strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of proven experience using SQL to solve problems

  • Coding and/or Accounting Certifications will also be considered.

  • Experience in the Lumber and Building Materials industry
