KIHOMAC Information Systems Security Engineering Officer in Colorado Springs, Colorado
Assist the STIM with the Operations and Financial reporting and deliverables for ITSD in support of the MDA
Optimize customer visibility, manage priorities, standardize requirements, conduct task order cost accounting and forecasting and manage throughput
Help identify best practices for repeating and standardizing critical workflows and providing guidance on how to best approach new technology integration
Successfully execute task order scope, to include sustainment activities and engineering projects necessary to meet contractual and customer requirements.
Execution of Control Account management (CAM) responsibilities including budget tracking, detail planning, and execution of the integrated schedule and associated budget in accordance with Earned Value Management (EVM) direction and best practices for multiple control accounts.
Foster a productive and effective relationship with the Contracting Officer (COTR) or Assistant COTR, providing insight on TO performance.
Conduct Integrated Baseline Reviews of the TO and report technical, cost and schedule status to the COTR on a monthly basis.
Coordinate with the customer to support proper prioritization of efforts based on budgetary and resource constraints, practicing flexibility in changing priorities.
Serve as primary interface between contract and government customers/leadership.
Serve as the voice of the Customer in contract and organizational discussion.
Lead an integrated approach to the execution of activities requiring different internal and external teams or organizations to ensure effective operational support to the customers’ requirements.
Ability to recognize, develop and maintain business relationships vital to the success of task order execution.
Responsible for team management functions, to include timecard approvals, staffing and performance management.
Develop presentations and brief stakeholders as required to ensure clear and concise messaging throughout the communications cycle.
Effectively communicate and manage expectations with team members and customer stakeholders.

Requirements
Education/Training:
Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field required
Must be able to obtain an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Active Project Management Institute (PMI) certification preferred
Experience:
Must have 8 years of directly related experience
Must have 5 years of experience working in a management or leadership role
Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and successfully lead teams with a track record of collaboration, teaming and communication amongst peers, management and stakeholders
Must have demonstrated understanding of planning and managing complex resources against constraints
Must have experience with use of MS Office applications
Preferred Experience:
Experience successfully interfacing with government customers and senior leaders
Demonstrated understanding of the traditional Project Management Lifecycle, to include stakeholder management, and the Systems Engineering lifecycle
Demonstrated experience in Earned Value Management and/or Control Account Management functions
Experience with Microsoft Project and Visio
Security:
Must be a US citizen
Candidate must have ability to obtain a security clearance at level Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time
