Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team! In this role you will get to provide software development for existing capability while improving usability of the software and provide containerized software services for many of the existing data source connections supporting Defensive Cyber Operations..

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Participating in SAFe® Agile Software Development teams bringing new capabilities and automation throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), in a SAFe® construct.

  • Providing our customers expertise to leverage their existing software and create new capabilities within a DevSecOps software factory

  • Strong ability to produce and maintain varied technical documentation

  • 100% onsite is required in Colorado Springs, CO

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Must have a Masters Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or other relevant Engineering field from an accredited university with 10 years of experience

  • Ability to obtain and hold a Secret clearance

  • Certifications: SAFe® for Teams, AWS Associate Developer, and AWS Specialty Security within a year of start date or be able to demonstrate AWS competence using the CLI and Boto.

  • Demonstrated working knowledge and experience in the following areas: Apache Spark, Kubernetes, Kafka, SIMP Project, Ansible, Docker, GIT, Linux, Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL, Terraform, Artifactory, and GitLab

  • Demonstrated working knowledge and experience with agile software development, agile methodologies, agile project management, software project management, software development life cycle management, systems engineering, and strategic planning for a cross-functional team

  • Experience with AWS cloud and deployment methodologies

  • Proficient in multiple programming languages such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, and Angular

  • Experience defining and documenting Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs)

  • Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes

  • Design and development of REST Web Services

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Top Secret OR interim/active Secret with ability to get Top Secret

  • DoD 8140.03 Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CYSA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), etc.

  • Familiarity with Defensive Cyber Operations Concept

Salary Range:

$100,400.00 - $175,700.00
