Your Role & Team in a Nutshell
As a Procurement Manager EMEA you will be responsible for providing professional support to EMEA stakeholders and managing regional sourcing projects. You will focus on the following categories: Energies, CAPEX (Capital Expenditure), MRO (maintenance, repair, operation), Waste management. You will manage two direct reports while joining a team of 7 people, based in multiple locations within EMEA region.

Your Key Tasks as a Procurement Manager
Management of national/regional sourcing projects
Negotiation of local/regional sourcing initiatives,
Development of the regional sourcing strategy on its categories, especially on MRO (spare parts, pallets, etc…) and Capex (Capital) with the support of two buyers located in different plants,
Revision of contracts and negotiation of annual cost decrease,
Perform activities relative to SRM and Footprint,
Development of analysis and report to guide global Category Managers in developing global category strategies and/or business cases,
Support deployment of Global sourcing strategies,
Working with various functions within Newell Brands, and especially in close collaboration with the plants in EMEA and the Supply chain department,
Good knowledge of European Energy market with experience in hedging of commodities and experience in recovering various taxes and subsidies on the energy market,
Best practices benchmarking,

What You’ll Need
Minimum:
Former experience in industrial matrix environment,
First experience in management (managing people, projects)
Knowledge of Energies (gaz, electricity, propane) category.
Fluent English
Working knowledge of MS Excel
Your advantage:

Knowledge of German is a plus
Knowledge of SAP for plants, ARIBA
