*IMMEDIATE OPENINGJob Description - Deduction SpecialistCatelli Brothers, one of the largest Veal and Lamb processing facilities is seeking an experienced Deductions Specialist for a high-volume position. The candidate should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize. This position requires a detailed understanding of collections/deductions.Duties/Responsibilities-Research, analyze, and resolve all customer deductions including shortages, reclamations, damages, and returns accurately and effectively.Submission of all unauthorized deductions within the customer’s dispute timelines.Post Credit/Debit adjustments for Marketing Rebates and Food show deductions.Provide all necessary documentation to meet department and audit standards.Works closely with the Sales team to maintain updated contracts.Continuous follow-up with customers regarding repayments of deductions.Alert upper management and sales teams of customer trends on deductions.Enter invoices into customer portals for payment.Scan invoices and Bill of Ladings via document imaging.Performs other related duties as assignedQualifications:Knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word.Aspen/Canopy ERP experience preferred.Food Industry experience preferred.Understanding of Marketing agreements is preferred.Proficient in computer, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.Education/Training:High School Diploma or equivalent3-5 years’ experience in deductionsMust read and write EnglishAdvanced Math skillsBilling/Collections experience requiredFood industry experience preferredSupervisory Responsibilities:This position has no supervisory responsibilitiesPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to step, climb, balance, squat, kneel, bend and reach above shoulders as needed.
