Job Summary
The Program Coordinator I, under general supervision, coordinates the planning, development and implementation of assigned program. Assists with determining training needs.
Responsibilities:
Plans, implements and conducts structured program training sessions using various training methods encompassing group settings. Assesses program training needs and evaluates the accuracy of the curriculum.
Sets-up training environment.
Engages with professional stakeholders.
Coordinates with outside training partners.
Assists in preparation and monitoring of budgets for programs and events.
Serves as consultant in topics related to DWI enforcement.
Responds to inquiries regarding program training offerings.
Coordinates program communications and marketing.
Compiles program statistics.
Develops and updates training materials and deliver training sessions.
Maintains program records and databases.
Assists in identifying funding opportunities.
Plans and implements programs and assists in their evaluation.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex information understandably.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Knowledge of Alcohol training and DWI laws and policies.
Excellent public speaking skills. Ability to speak in front of large.
