The Manager Senior Financial Operations Department is responsible for data analysis and reporting needed to appropriately invoice ASO customers for Payment Integrity services and for enhancing systems, tools, and processes to deliver increased efficiency, flexibility, and accuracy. The Manager Senior will offer broad IT and data analysis expertise to business leadership, lead a team of data analysts, partner with on and off shore IT, and be responsive to Internal Audit.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

•Assist in the development and implementation of vision, strategies, and tactics to maximize the departments effectiveness while minimizing costs

•Review statistical data of various systems in order to verify accuracy and timely processing

•Ensure internal controls are appropriate and develops policies and procedures and ensures compliance with government regulations and customer contracts

•Provide counsel to senior management

•Work with other areas for solutions to complex problems

•Participate in critical interactions with both internal and external customers

•Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of direct reports


•Seven or more years’ experience with Health Insurance / Payer operations, Payment Integrity, reporting, audit guidelines, and process improvement required

•Experience with complex business environments including multiple entity and highly automated situations required

•Five or more years’ management experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background, required

•Expertise developing and translating business requirements to IT required

•Expertise developing / leading the development of ad hoc and routine reporting required

•Knowledge of / experience with Hadoop preferred
