JOB SUMMARY: Oracle s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (ERP) is an integrated applications suite of comprehensive enterprise resource planning software that combines business value, standards-based technology, and deep industry experience into a business solution with a low total cost of ownership. As the JD Edwards System Design Analyst I, you ll be analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer systems. This includes: Managing JDE Helpdesk and responding to level 1 support issues Quality assurance testing for various JDE and JDE Related software Internal coordination and communication within the department and organization Use of Agile methodology to solve problems and promote change WHAT YOU LL BE DOING: Analyzing current operational procedures, identifying problems, and learning specific input and output requirements Writing detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs Reviewing computer system capabilities and workflow Studying existing information processing systems to evaluate their effectiveness; developing new systems to improve production or workflow as required Preparing workflow charts and diagrams to specify operations to be performed by equipment, computer programs, and operations Conducting studies about the development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs Planning and preparing technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation of program development Assisting our Computer Programmer in the resolution of work problems related to flow charts, project specifications, or programming Reviewing project requests describing database user needs Determining if a project requires creating a series of new programs or modifying existing programs that access data stored in databases Reviewing procedures in database management system manuals for making changes to the database Writing physical database descriptions Correcting employee-implemented errors Auditing the transactions of the system EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: Four-year degree in accounting and/or a computer-related field is preferred (a related post-secondary degree may be considered) 0 5 years experience working in ERP systems. JDE is preferred but will consider working on other ERPs such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Netsuite, Epicor, etc Candidate with firsthand experience in the Granite or Bronze Industries may be given further consideration even if they do not meet the education or experience requirements Experience using Jira or other software project management considered a plus Experience with Scrum, Kanban, or Agile methodology considered a plus Strong collaboration, relationship management, verbal and written communication skills Ability to adapt and understand business Ability to drive projects to completion If assistance is needed in completing an application, please call or text Jillian Opdahl in Human Resources at (320) 685-4681.
