A multi-office, multi-discipline engineering firm is looking to grow their Coeur d'Alene office by adding a Roadway Engineer with 2-6 years of experience. The ideal candidate should have experience supporting transportation projects in the state of Idaho. An Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required, and Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Idaho is preferred. Experience in transportation projects, including IDOT, roadway, highway, and bridges, is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
Design and develop roadway, highway, and bridge projects
Support transportation projects in the state of Idaho
Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and OpenRoads (InRoads, GEOPAK)
Collaborate with team members to provide creative engineering solutions
Conduct site visits as required to ensure project compliance
Manage project timelines and ensure deliverables meet quality standards
Essential Skills
2-6 years of experience with civil engineering projects (site development and/or transportation)
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Experience supporting transportation projects in Idaho
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Professional Engineer (PE) Registration in Idaho preferred
Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads (InRoads, GEOPAK)
Strong understanding of transportation engineering principles
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Work Environment
Work primarily in the Coeur d'Alene office with occasional site visits. Most projects are located in the northern panhandle of Idaho down to the Lewiston area. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $57.69/hr.
