Emerson Project Manager in CLUJ NAPOCA, Romania

Based in any Cluj Napoca, The Project Manager will provide Project Management in accordance with Emerson PMO process and local requirements. Ensure that every project is delivered on time, within approved budget and to customer’s happiness. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Build and maintain business partnerships with the customer and act as the point of contact for the customer on commercial and schedule and build and maintain relationship with main subcontractors and fabricators;
Handle and keep control of project timeline in-line with the contractual delivery date and customer-agreed dates for all key project achievements;
Lead the Proposal Handover meeting, internal and Customer kick-off meetings, project status meetings, and customer meetings;
Develop Project Execution Plan, implement project according to the plan and own the Project Status / Review meetings and document with minutes;
Develop, maintain and status the Project Timeline against critical landmarks using common Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and prepare project review and present project performance (both locally and globally);
Responsible for the financial performance of project including budgets, GP, ETCs and EACs against As-Sold profit targets;
Leading internal and external changes through the Change Management Process. Responsible for communicating with Customer/Engineering Contractor to acquire approval for all external change orders;
Empower, encourage and develop the project team members to make a difference and perform risk management with Project Team to minimise project risks;
Hold regular project meetings to resolve status of projects, identify areas of risk and opportunities in conjunction with the field team members and managers, to develop and implement mitigation strategies and plan, and participate in internal and external audits
Ensure alignment and tight communication with Project Lead and report and increase issues and risks to the management as needed;
Communicate Project Timeline, budgets, performance, and objectives to the whole project team to ensure the support from the Operations Team, Quality Team, Finance etc. is acquired to achieve budgets and schedules;
Build and issue monthly reports to customers as per PMO requirements supported by the project timeline.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering related subject area or Project Management;
Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing sophisticated and multi-disciplines projects based on work breakdown structure;
Good understanding of business processes, and trade compliance aspects;
Experience in managing remote team members;
Strong presentation and written communication skills;
Proficient English language skills; verbal, reading, and writing;
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Recognized qualifications in Project Management i.e. PMI & PMP is an advantage.
