Copeland Pricing Analyst in CLUJ NAPOCA, Romania

We are looking for a Pricing Analyst to support and steer external customer pricing!
Working together with the HQ functions in Aachen (Germany), the pricing team and the European Sales team, you will analyze various types of price requests and provide mentorship to Management and Sales using different reports and tools. You will maintain all relevant data to ensure smooth operation of pricing in all pricing related tools (Mapics, Oracle e.g.), and contribute to the improvement project of new or existing tools.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Provide support in determining the appropriate pricing based on a variety of factors and ensure consistency throughout the European pricing.
Support with in-depth studies for price setting and negotiations (financial impact, positioning, and competitive situation).
Analyze pricing data, previous sales trends while collaborating with customers and partners, and report data to decision maker.
Compare sales trends to previous periods and determine cause for changes in collaboration with the different partners.
Proactively analyze and improve local and global customer price structures to avoid mismatches and ensure profitability.
Build, maintain, and support list prices and guidelines as well as net price and discount guidelines
Provide pricing-related codes and categories in Oracle and Mapics
Develop and improve pricing tools and reports

For This Role, You Will Need:
University degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or related field
3 years professional work experience
1 year of experience in pricing
Digital literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficiency in spoken and written English
Distinctive analytical, pragmatic and result oriented competencies
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Knowledge of working with databases an asset (SQL, OBIEE, Access, Hyperion)
Flexibility and ability to connect with all levels of the organization
Pro-active, able to identify and balance priorities
