We are looking for a diligent and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team!
The ideal candidate is expected to possess a proven understanding of payroll processes and compliance requirements across various countries. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, aligning with local and country tax laws, and providing excellent service to our employees. As part of the Regional payroll team, you will be responsible for the processing payroll for multiple countries in Europe using ADP Celergo and local payroll software, Workday HRIS system, UKG Kronos and local time and attendance software, and other 3rd party inbound and outbound vendors.

This job is based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
We provide a flexible working schedule with the option of working hybrid.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Accurately process payroll for employees across multiple countries.
Ensure timely and accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and country specific tax laws and regulations.
Guarantee adherence to country, federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements.
Prepare and file payroll tax returns for local, state, and federal agencies.
Generate and review payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files.
Address and resolve more sophisticated payroll-related inquiries from HR Shared Services.
Provide guidance on payroll and tax matters.
Apply payroll software to manage payroll processes.
Assist in system upgrades and implementations as needed.
For This Role You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or equivalent experience in accounting, finance and / or Human Resources.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
Demonstrable experience working across multiple countries to process payroll.
Knowledge of global payroll processes, labor laws, taxation, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in payroll and time keeping systems, such as Workday, ADP Celergo and UKG Kronos.
Proficiency in verbal and written English communications.
Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrate an extreme level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
Strong communication, customer service skills, friendly and professional demeanor.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
• Proficiency in any other European language (German, French, Italian, Spanish, Czech).
• Experience in a customer-service support.
