Emerson Intelligent Automation Specialist in CLUJ NAPOCA, Romania

This is a support role for the European SharePoint environment. In Europe, our customers are from truly all parts of the Business. Our customers see the efficiency benefits that SharePoint brings, and frequently request functionality that needs advanced use of Power Automate, Power Apps and Logic Apps. This role is set to enhance our ability to support our customers, increasing the efficiency of their work processes.

In this role, your responsibilities will be

  • Continually improve employee efficiency through digital tools and processes, because there are now 3000 sites and 8000 people accessing these sites per day (9000/month) across 27 countries. They view c. 2.8 million pages a month.

  • Collaborate with the team to build and implement efficient tools with Power Platform Apps and Power Automate Flows for automation of various business operations.

  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of SharePoint, its features, and related M365 services to develop solutions.

  • Extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies.

  • Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and deployment (Peer to peer testing is particularly meaningful to ensure that a quality product is delivered to our customers).

  • Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve issues, optimize performance, and improve application functionality.

  • Stay ahead of emerging trends and technologies in the industry to continually improve skills and give innovative solutions.

  • Provide technical support and fix assistance to end-users as needed.

  • Provide management of support and of improvement requests for existing solutions

  • Good problem-solving skills, Ready to learn new technologies quickly.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • At least three years of relevant work experience in IT systems/applications analysis/support roles using current technology and software solutions.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or similar in relevant industry or IT.

  • Hands-on experience with automation tools, particularly within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, Power Automate, and Power Apps

  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications are required.

  • Practical experience with SharePoint is essential.

  • Ability to optimally write and revise technical documentation.

  • English proficiency (written/read/spoken).

  • Ability to work in remote team with members scattered across multiple countries

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Experience or a proven understanding of Business Analysis and Agile Project Management methodologies would be beneficial.
