Emerson Associate Project Manager in CLUJ NAPOCA, Romania

The Associate Project Manager is accountable for delivering assigned projects by leading a defined aspect of the project scope, including services and execution of system assembly projects on time, and in line with expectations – meeting or exceeding key measures.

The point of contact for the FSO on all commercial matters, applying internal and third-party resources and projects may span across multiple areas and businesses located in Cluj Campus.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Deliver the assigned part of the project in accordance with agreed project costs, schedules, quality, and performance against established milestones; proactively handle changes and risks

  • Work with project support and finance functions to ensure accurate and timely reporting on project performance from Emerson’s business systems

  • Participates in contract negotiations with customers and vendors, Handover from Sales meeting, and Project Review Meetings if/when required by FSO and initiates the Cluj-FSO KOM.

  • Communicate continuously with Front Sales Office Project Managers to ensure successful delivery of the assigned project scope driven from Cluj

  • Build trust and respect in relationships with project team, FSO and customers

  • Promote team interaction and efficiency

  • Lead and develop team members irrespective of their working location as required for meeting the project success criteria.

  • May lead internal project process improvement efforts

  • Adequate support of Sales activities, if required (e.g. proposals and contracts, support hours estimations) Manage the coordination of the T&E projects

  • Be knowledgeable and aware of current and future Project Management trends and execution strategies

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience/knowledge, with business studies preferred.

  • 1-3 years of experience in Industrial systems, software, process automation or application engineering capacity with relevant/ related project and technical management experience

  • Excellent communicator in the local language with proficient English language (verbal and written).

  • Good financial knowledge and exposure to project planning.

  • Contract Management knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • German or French speaker

  • Agile project execution knowledge and PMP/PMI certification
