Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
Join our machinist team and work on mostly repeat jobs, allowing you to be hands-off once the machines are running efficiently. This role involves working with various CNC machines and controls in a supportive and well-maintained environment.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines including horizontal and vertical mills and lathes.
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precision in fabrication and machining.
Utilize Fanuc, Mazak, and Haas controls effectively.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.
Ensure the quality of produced parts by using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years of machinist experience.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Experience with vertical and horizontal CNC machines, including 4-axis mills or lathes.
Knowledge of Fanuc, Mazak, and Haas controls.
Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and gauges for precision measurement.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Set up experience is preferred but not required.
Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is a plus.

Work Environment
Work in a mid-size, temperature-controlled shop that is clean and well-maintained. The schedule is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
