Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Job Description

Candidates should have a minimum of 4+ years' provable experience within the field of commercial construction within Southern NE. The role requires the ability to read and comprehend vertical construction plans. This is a Field Supervisor position that involves working with subcontractors, building departments, owners, and document controls. Candidates must be self-motivated, ambitious, and possess strong communication skills with the ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage subcontractors on-site.

  • Coordinate with building departments and owners.

  • Oversee document control processes.

  • Ensure construction safety and compliance with OSHA standards.

  • Read and comprehend vertical construction plans and build specifications.

  • Handle project coordination and data entry.

  • Manage construction drawings and ensure quality control.

  • Perform construction supervision and change order management.

Essential Skills

  • 4+ years of commercial construction experience, specifically in municipal projects.

  • Experience with ground-up and vertical construction (new builds and renovations).

  • Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and build specifications.

  • Strong subcontractor management skills.

  • Computer skills: Excel, MS Office, MS Project.

  • Proficiency in construction supervision, OSHA 30, and safety management.

  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and RFI processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management (preferred).

  • 6+ years of commercial construction experience (preferred).

Work Environment

Work is conducted at the project site from Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm. The standard workweek consists of 40 hours, with the potential for additional hours if project deadlines require. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.
