Proscape Development Inc Construction Helper in Clifton Park, New York
Construction Helper - 7 fulltime, temporary, peak load (H-2B) jobs available 4/1/24-12/31/24.

Duties: Fit and fasten wallboard or drywall into position on wood or metal frameworks of walls and ceilings, using glue, nails, or screws. Assemble or install metal stud framing. Trim rough edges from wallboard to maintain even joints. Seal joints or fill in holes in drywall panels applying tape, sealing compound, sanding, and smoothing. Install insulation and tack moisture barriers over insulation. Apply or mount acoustical tile or blocks, strips, or sheets of shock-absorbing materials to ceilings or walls. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Transportation provided to and from job sites within Albany, Schenectady, Saratoga, Rensselaer and Warren Counties from designated location: 106 Beach Rd, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
No experience or education required. Post-hire drug testing upon suspicion and post-accident at employer's expense.
Work hours: Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm. 40 hours/week at $26.04/hour. Possible OT at $39.06/hour. Bonuses/raises may be paid at employer discretion based on performance, skill, tenure. Employer will assist workers with securing housing, but employer will not provide housing.
A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.
Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.46/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
