Job Description Summary: The Operational Excellence Manager implements the Operational Excellence framework enabling the organization to reach leading levels of process safety, reliability, and efficiency in a cost-effective manner. Provides direction and expertise to the operating teams by promoting approved Airgas strategies, deploying industrial legacy programs and managing continuous and sustainable improvement. Develops rigorous processes and standard work that ensure consistent levels of reliability, quality and improve performance. Develops highly skilled and capable people who can solve problems quickly and effectively. Ensures the roll out of new initiatives to accompany the transformation of the Operations to the next step improvements in Operational Excellence Educates and trains our workforce in process safety management, including how to recognize and report Process Safety Events Performs periodical IMS post audits checks in line with Airgas objectives Supports Operations by addressing early detection of inefficiencies using data mining and comprehensive business analytics in order to make the best operational decisions. Drives complex troubleshooting, and ensures that incidents (S1/S2 - L1/L2) are analyzed, that relevant root causes are identified, and that effective action plans are built, approved and executed Assisting support departments (SIO, Process Control) with relevant Advanced Process Control (APC) projects to correctly tune / optimize the plant controllers, or implement some pure additional control features if needed. __Are you a MATCH? Required Qualifications Minimum of a 2 year technical degree or equivalent experience 10 years of ASU operations experience ASU SME on the TCL- level 2 or international or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree Previous experience managing multiple ASU plant sites at one time
