The Sherwin-Williams Company Space Management Planner in Cleveland, Ohio

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: (1) Move and office change coordinator for the Corporate Office Services Department: Act as first contact for all office moves and workspace modifications. Coordinate entire move process from initial planning to post-move punch list. Effectively communicate with customer throughout duration of the relocation process Arrange schedules and coordinate support staff (ex. furniture technicians, maintenance) to drive efficiency and minimize disruption to the business. Partner with facilities management team to plan and execute. Ensure workplace strategy and any company initiatives are consistent throughout workspace Maintain excellent working knowledge of department work order system. Modify and complete work orders accordingly. (2) Manage and update the workspace management software: Responsible for updating CAD drawings after workspace modifications, furniture changes, etc. Also responsible for printed drawing sets from external architects. Update employee workspace locations resulting from new hires, employee relocations, and organizational changes. Audit physical office areas on a continuous basis to ensure accuracy Partner with business leaders and department stakeholders to provide reports on employee headcount, space types, fit plans, and other utilization data. Maintain positive working relationship with workspace management vendor and act as business owner for the software. Responsible for troubleshooting any functionality issues with vendor and internal stakeholders Initiate and assist with training sessions Request quotes for project work, data uploads, or other department needs Maintain inventory of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) as required Assist with furniture procurement and installation coordination Assist with ergonomic process and employee accommodations. Liaise with HR as required Coordinate building signage Liaise with building amenity stakeholders to support amenity spaces (3) Assist Corporate Real Estate team with workspace design and space planning projects on an as-needed basis: This includes travel to off-site locations. (4) Other misc. tasks as assigned by management. FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: Bachelor's Degree in Commercial Interior Design or Architecture, or related equivalent experience KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: 3 years of relevant work experience in space planning, design, or another related field.
