Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure that all safety procedures are followed, equipment is operated correctly, and quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
Adhere to all safety procedures and ensure equipment is operated properly.
Interpret and understand the forging/tooling prints and how they apply to the process.
Accurately perform periodic visual and dimensional measurements on hot and cold forgings to ensure conformity.
Notify operator or supervisor of any quality issues.
Compare prints to the Data Collection System File to verify that revision levels match.
Complete all training requirements in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Experience with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Proficiency in hot inspection, foundry, forging, and quality control.
Ability to perform visual inspections and quality checks.
Experience in quality assurance and blueprint reading.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience is required.

Work Environment
The work hours are from 6am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday, with overtime on Fridays as needed. The position operates on a single shift. The facility is equipped with the necessary technologies and equipment to perform the job duties effectively.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.27 - $21.27/hr.
