MetroHealth Physician Assistant - Outpatient Podiatry in CLEVELAND, Ohio
We seek Physician Assistants to join our Podiatry Department a Division of Orthopaedics in the outpatient setting.
The PA will be supporting the podiatry department in outpatient clinic and assisting in surgery in the outpatient setting. This is a specialized care position focusing on foot and ankle health. There will be no weekend coverage. New grads and experienced providers encouraged to apply.
Additional responsibilities include:
Conservatively managing foot and ankle orthopaedic conditions
Managing diabetic foot conditions including wound care
Referring to necessary multi-disciplinary teams when needed
Completing in office bedside procedures (ex: wound debridements, nail removals, injections, wart treatments, wound vac applications.)
Functioning in a supportive role to provide optimum care to surgical patients.
Work in conjunction with the additional PA position to ensure coverage of surgical cases
Upholding the standards of the system-wide customer service program.
