Description MOSC OR - Adult out-patient Afternoon schedule (11a-7:45p) Monday - Friday On-call requirements Service lines provided: Ophthalmology Orthopedic General Colorectal Plastic Neurosurgery Otolaryngology Oral Urology Vascular Robotic surgery Do you have the unique "calling" to become an OR Nurse? The Perioperative Nursing Program may be the right choice for you! This 10-12 week full-time paid program, is designed to teach RNs the scrub and circulating role in the Operating Room with the expectation of a long-standing career in an OR setting. The Perioperative Program provides classroom lecture, skill development during mock surgeries and precepted clinical experiences that are integrated to facilitate your success. Following successful program completion, orientation and training continues as you gain knowledge and skills in other clinical OR specialties. This is a full time regularly-statused RN position. Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Dimensions are: 1. Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care. 2. Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes. 3. Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations. 4. Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing. 5.
