Insight Global IT Support Specialist in Cleveland, Ohio

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a remote IT Support Technician for a large, global client based in Cleveland, OH. The helpdesk team is centralized in Cleveland for the entire firm and works with employees based in multiple offices around the world. This person will be fulfilling a tier 1 support role and will be responsible for providing answers, advice, system access, and remote troubleshooting for all firm employees. This person should expect to process approximately 35+ ServiceNow tickets a day to either resolve or escalate to tier 2 support teams. They will need to be able to troubleshoot network issues, web browsers, web-based applications, Microsoft Suit issues, password resets, etc. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential, and applicants must speak English fluently. This person will be able to work remotely but must remain close to the Cleveland office in case of any unforeseen situations such as loss of power or internet services. The client will provide all computer hardware and software necessary but does require the candidate to have a strong, reliable, private internet service for remote connectivity and a smartphone for multifactor authentication and messaging software. Overtime is limited. Shifts may vary over time at the client's discretion.

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

* 1+ years of experience in IT (tier 1-2 support)

  • Able to work 2nd shift 3:30PM- 12:00AM

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar

* Troubleshooting experience, password resets, connecting to VPN, rebooting computers etc.

* Customer service experience (customer facing)

* Experience with troubleshooting Microsoft Suit, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • MUST BE LOCAL TO CLEVELAND! Plusses:

* ServiceNow Ticketing

* Experience with pivot tables, web-based applications.

* Round Robin Call System null
