Job Description
The Facilities General Manager plans, administers, and directs all activities related to facilities maintenance, custodial, and grounds. You will have client financial accountability and ensure compliance with established standards. You will establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified approach to facilities management. The role involves the development and growth of a large management team and hourly employees, focusing on meeting and exceeding operating and financial goals, client objectives, KPI metrics, and customer needs. Daily interaction with the client, client's customers, and employees is required. This individual will ensure operational excellence in the delivery of services contracted by the client.
Responsibilities
Plan, administer, and direct all activities related to facilities maintenance, custodial, and grounds.
Develop and grow a large management team and hourly employees.
Meet and exceed operating and financial goals, client objectives, KPI metrics, and customer needs.
Ensure compliance with established standards.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments.
Ensure operational excellence in the delivery of services contracted by the client.
Interact daily with the client, client's customers, and employees.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Degree from an accredited university/college; MBA preferred
Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in manufacturing management
Previous construction management experience highly preferred
Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets in the facilities industry
Proven track record of growing accounts
