Case Western Reserve University Assistant Professor (non-tenure track) - Center for Artificial Intelligence in D in Cleveland, Ohio

Posted February 09, 2024 The Center for Artificial Intelligence in Drug Discovery at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine has one non-tenure track assistant professor position available in the areas of artificial intelligence, natural language processing, machine learning, data mining, systems biology, biomedical informatics, and other related computer science fields, with applications in drug discovery, disease mechanism understanding, and health outcomes research. The responsibilities for this position include developing new computational methods for understanding disease mechanisms, drug discovery, and health outcomes. Conduct original research in the development of computational, statistical, and related analytical methods. Coordinate and lead collaborations locally, nationally, and internationally. Present research results at national and international conferences. Write research papers and independent research grants. Qualifications PhD or MD degrees, with strong technical skills in computer science - artificial intelligence, natural language processing, data mining, machine learning, pattern recognition, graph theory, networks, systems biology, knowledge representation and engineering, and ontology. A strong computer science background and programming skills are critical. Strong research experience, publication record and communication skills are necessary. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States. Application Instructions Electronic submission is required.
