As a Sr Financial Analyst - Government Compliance & Finance - DCAA and DCMA Audit Response Team here at Honeywell, you will hold a critical role in ensuring compliance with government regulations and leading the response to audits conducted by the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA). You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing audit responses, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. Your expertise in government compliance, financial analysis, and audit response will be instrumental in driving the success of our government contracts and ensuring financial transparency and accountability.
You will report directly to our Finance Manager, and you'll work out of our Clearwater, FL or Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have a direct impact on the financial performance of our Aerospace Technologies business unit. You will be responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial insights to support decision-making. Your work will contribute to the overall financial health and success of the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Subject matter expert supporting activity type maintenance, ensuring proper posting of labor costs.
Support of SAP Rate Maintenance and Validation for Aerospace CAS Compliant Segments.
Performs self-assessments pertaining to Business Systems to ensure strong internal controls.
Support of labor compliance and contributing member of the Aerospace Timekeeping Council.
Supports cross functionally Government Compliance and Finance matters, reinforcing awareness through training, preparing white papers and testing internal controls.
Interface with DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) and DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency), regarding Business Systems, CAS, Incurred Cost, Forward Pricing and final voucher audits.

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business, with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
Due to ITAR restrictions, must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident status.
WE VALUE
Strong SAP experience.
Strong personal computer skills with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Experience with FAR, CAS and U.S. Government Compliance is desired.
Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
CPA and/or Government Contract Accounting considered a plus.
Strong financial and business analytical and problem-solving skills.
Independent, self-starter, with a strong work ethic, high degree of motivation and the ability to contribute to a positive team attitude.
Strong bias for action; results oriented with an ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and team across organizational or functional boundaries.
Six Sigma certified or trained preferred.
