Job Title: Screw Machine Operator

Job Description

This position involves operating one to two screw machines simultaneously, setting up and changing over machinery, and performing quality checks using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Proficiency in blueprint reading is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Operate one to two screw machines at a time.

  • Set up and change over machinery efficiently.

  • Perform quality checks using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

  • Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

  • Troubleshoot issues with machinery as necessary.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with screw machine operation.

  • Proficiency in blueprint reading.

  • Skill in using precision measurement tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with CNC machines, mills, and lathes.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, air-conditioned indoor machine shop environment. This facility is home to 120-150 employees spread across three shifts, offering a comfortable and well-maintained workspace.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clearwater, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
