In NC, we operate three pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities that are responsible for fulfilling different steps in our injectable and oral treatment supply chains. Our Product Supply Aseptic Manufacturing (PS AM) facility in Clayton, NC is a 457,000 square foot aseptic "fill and finish" site that is responsible for producing innovative, injectable diabetes and obesity treatments. The Position
Ensure Fire & Security Systems function as designed, meet business needs & are in constant state of compliance with applicable regulations & codes.

Manager.
Essential Functions
Responsible for evaluation and oversight of fire alarm system and reporting findings to Manager for resolution
Responsible for evaluation, oversight, troubleshooting and based on manager approval perform the repairs to the security system equipment & wiring as needed
Respond promptly to emergency service calls and troubleshoot issues in real-time
Responsible for the installation, testing, repair, and maintenance of low voltage security systems
Ensure safety through compliance with relevant State and Federal regulations
Responsible for annual National Fire & Protection Agency (NFPA) 72 annual inspections
Document all work performed, including system configurations, repairs, and maintenance activities
Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties

Physical Requirements
May move equipment &/or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility using various body positions. May be required to be on your feet for up to a 12-hour shift. May required corrected vision to 20/20 or 20/25 based on role. May require color vision based on role. May require the ability to work in loud noise environments with hearing protections.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited university required
May consider an associate’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering technology from an accredited university with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the commercial security access/CCTV industry required
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the commercial security access/CCTV industry preferred
Previous experience in Low Voltage installations of Fiber, Cat 5-6, Coax, Multi-conductor work experience required, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
Experience in maintaining fire alarm systems and access control system required
Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals required
Read blueprints, building and electrical plans with the ability to learn NFPA 72 fire system and NEC 70 security access control to obtain NICET Certification and necessary skills for advancement required
Knowledge of Fire Alarm, CCTV, and security access control systems required
Demonstrated familiarity with electrical equipment, hand tools, and knowledge of proper cable pulling methods required
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues required
