SUMMARY

:

Research, create and develop essential ceramic tile industry related graphic design.

Essential Functions:

• Proven professional experience in digitaldesign
• Ability to clearly presentdesign ideas and concepts
• Able to clearly presentdesign ideas and concepts to stakeholders
• Responsible for the development of new products with digital printer machinery
• Test the colors before production begins to confirm they are matching the standard sample signed off by the customer
• Responsible for following the directive or instruction of the Laboratory Manager
• Responsible for written and verbal communication with the vendors that effect the digitization of tiles
• Responsible for evaluating the quality assurance process of the digitization process
• Will coordinate the production of samples with the Lab
• Comply with OSHA and In-House Health and Safety rules, and comply with all company policies

Physical Demands:

• Ability to bend, squat, stretch, twist, or reach with the body, arms, and/or legs, lift at least 50 lbs, makes fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists
• Ability to work in a non climate controlled environment

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree preferred, but High School Diploma or GED accepted with experience
• Must be able to manage time well, and be a team player
• Previous experience in press operations is a plus
• Ability to understand technical manuals
• Working knowledge of the Metric system helpful
• Must be able to multi-task
