Primary Function:

Aides with all HR policies, procedures and programs while providing internal guidance and support to all employees.

Essential Position Responsibilities:

• Assist employees at all levels of the organization with various HR related items
• Perform onboarding duties including but not limited to: ensure compliance with USCIS Form I-9, E-verify, periodic I9/E-verify audits, monitor physical, drug and alcohol screenings for all new hires
• Conduct orientation for new hires
• Reconcile various vendor invoices
• Coordinate company activities and events such as employee luncheons, blood drives and litter pickup
• Maintain organizational charts
• Manage company service award program
• Manages employee internal company store
• Maintain accurate and complete employee files and other HR related documents/data in various systems (I.e. UKG Ready/Kronos, AS400, Tenstreet)
• Administer and manage a compliant DOT drug and alcohol program
• Backup to front desk
• Participate in other projects as needed and other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills to include verbal, written, and interpersonal
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, Kronos, Web based Portals, company systems
• Strong organizational skills to include: ability to handle multiple priorities and detail oriented
• Willing to work a flexible schedule as needed.
• Ability to integrate and analyze data.
• Thrive within a team environment.
• Work well in a fast paced and ever changing environment.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalence required.
• Human Resources experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
