Citigroup Fiduciary Operations Assistant Vice President in Ciudad De Mexico, Mexico
The Fiduciary Operations AVP is an intermediate level position responsible for supervising instruction execution originating from client offices in coordination with the Operations - Client Services Management team. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement, fees collection, investigations.
Responsibilities:
Resolve escalations prior to going to a manager, by analyzing information in complicated and unique situations
Train new hires and junior level staff, and identify performance gaps through feedback and coaching
Provide technical guidance to resolve problems as the technical subject matter expert of the team
Provide manager with feedback for performance reviews, may write appraisals, may participate in appraisals
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiencies, while leading team projects
Persuade and influence others through communication and diplomacy skills; may negotiate with external parties
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Develop manuals and operative guidelines for the processes.
Qualifications:
5-8 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated project management and negotiation skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate-Advance English level
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
