Robert Half Staff Accountant in City of Industry, California

Description

Our client is looking for a Staff Accountant to assist with maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and working closely with senior accounting staff. This is a great opportunity to join a stable company with room for growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts

  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings

  • Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts

  • Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries

  • Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations

  • Help prepare financial reports and variance analyses

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

  • 2–4 years of experience in a similar role

  • Proficient in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, etc.)

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
