Aerotek Heavy Equipment Mechanic in City Of Industry, California
Description
Heavy Equipment Mechanic Needed to perform DOT inspection in accordance to FMSCA guidelines. Must possess an advanced set of tools. Tasks include the following:
Diagnosing and repairing cab related defects
Performing electrical repairs
Performing tire inspections for tread, inflation, rotation, wear and alignment
Performing emergency road calls
Proficiency in brake diagnostics, repairing & replacing brakes, and adjustments
Performing basic computer skills for company related initiatives.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must have valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (Class B a plus)
Possess necessary basic tools
Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs
Successfully demonstrate problem solving skills
Have a basic understanding of hydraulic systems
Experience with Chassis and welding
Must be able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
