Key Responsibilities: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Prepare month-end close journal entries and related schedules Analyze financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance Assist in preparing financial reports and statements Conduct account reconciliations, focusing on discrepancy investigation and resolution Support annual audit processes and provide documentation when needed Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Collaborate with senior accounting staff or external stakeholders to ensure ongoing financial performance Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP is a plus Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) CPA designation or progress toward a CPA license is highly preferred but not required Preferred Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to adapt to evolving client needs and priorities
