Actalent Scientist 1 in Cincinnati, Ohio
Responsibilities:
Conduct chemical and physical tests on raw materials, in-process items, finished products, and stability samples to ensure they meet quality and regulatory standards.
Perform analytical tests using techniques like dissolution, HPLC, GC, and spectroscopy.
Identify and report any out-of-specification or unexpected results and non-routine analytical and product issues promptly.
Carry out daily instrument calibrations and verifications as needed.
Work with team members to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
Keep accurate records of test results and analyses.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and safety guidelines strictly.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in a QC laboratory setting, preferably with chromatographic, spectroscopic, or other analytical techniques.
Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and instrumentation.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to perform flawless work.
Good problem-solving skills and a logical approach to scientific issues.
Strong motivation to excel and a desire for continuous growth.
Ability to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions successfully.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
