Tecta America Zero Company, LLC, Cincinnati, OH, needs 15 temporary (04/01/25 -- 12/01/25) and full-time roofing helpers to work at various jobsites within the Cincinnati, OH-KY-IN Metropolitan Statistical Area in Brown, Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren counties of Ohio; Boone, Campbell, Gallatin and Kenton counties of Kentucky; and Dearborn and Ohio counties of Indiana. Assist experienced roofers to provide safe and efficient installation and/or repair of roofs and roofing materials. Assist experienced roofers in laying roofing material to repair, maintain and install roofs and roof accessories. Assist experienced roofers by holding and/or moving tools and materials. Be exposed to the use of basic hand tools used in roofing. Observe all safety rules, including proper use of personal protective/protection equipment. Begin to learn basic procedures associated with the removal/installation/repair of roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, BOD BIT, BUR, shingles, roofing felt, asphalt and other roofing systems. Begin to learn additional tasks such as installation of metal flashing gutters and/or replacing sheeting boards and joints. Work under general supervision, receiving assignments in the form of work orders, inspection reports or verbal instructions. Follow the instructions of more experienced roofers. No experience requirements. No education requirements. Must be able to climb ladders. Must be unafraid of working at high elevations. Must be able to work in high heat conditions and perform physically repetitive movements (bending, climbing, kneeling). Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. OJT provided. $20.33p/h, overtime wage rate of $30.50, overtime including weekend work may be available but is not guaranteed, general schedule of 40h/w, 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri. At the employer's sole discretion, applicants may be offered higher than the advertised wage or possibly an end-of-season bonus, due to factors including experience, merit, attendance, attitude, and/or skill. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid on a bi-weekly basis. The employer will make all deductions from workers' paychecks that are required by law. The employer will provide optional housing accommodations from a third-party if relocating for the position and not within reasonable transport to jobsite. If employer-arranged housing is utilized the worker will be deducted an amount that does not exceed reasonable fair market value costs based on the number of occupants but is yet to be determined. If workers request and receive a pay advance, that amount will later be deducted from their paycheck. If relocating for the position, the cost of transportation and subsistence to the place of employment will be reimbursed, if half of the employment period is completed. This reimbursement will be calculated by the exact cost of the transportation expenses by airplane or bus fare, as well as subsistence expenses calculated at the minimum amount of $15.88 per 24-hour period of travel and the maximum amount of $59.00 per day. Return transportation and subsistence will be provided if the employment period is completed, or if dismissed early. The employer will provide daily transportation to and from the jobsite. The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees that are to the benefit of the employer. All tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job will be provided to workers at no charge. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period.
