The College of Medicine, Office of Medical Education is recruiting a Program Director in Medical Education. This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence in our students, faculty, staff, and all our activities. The Program Director reports directly to the Director for Medical Education. Essential Functions Serve as the lead administrator for our learning management system (LMS) for the Office of Medical Education acting as the point of contact for LMS support across all phases of the MD curriculum. Support the implementation of a revitalized curriculum and a new learning management system. Provide training on the LMS to faculty, staff, and student users. Provide administrative support to course directors in the Phase 1/preclinical curriculum including, but not limited to maintaining course materials and coordinating communications, syllabi, student course schedules, and other items that pertain to students and the LMS. Manage the gradebooks for Phase 1 courses. Support enrollment of Master of Physiology students in the LMS and serve as a liaison to the Master of Physiology Program Coordinator. Provide administrative support to the various medical education committees. Duties include: disseminating and posting agendas, taking meeting minutes, coordinating student attendance at meetings, preparing relevant communications after the meetings, and coordinating meeting materials. Collaborate with other College of Medicine offices and departments (e.g., Office of Student Affairs, clinical departments, Simulation Center). Coordinate the annual teaching award selection process. Prepare reports for the Director of Medical Education used in the continuous quality improvement process of the curriculum. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Education Bachelor's Degree. Nine (9) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement. Required Experience Five (5) years related experience.
