First Student Intern in CINCINNATI, Ohio

HR INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Employment Standards Team with pre-employment screening processes.

  • Receives and responds to inquiries concerning employee policies and procedures and other location functions as it relates to employment standards.

  • Review e-Verify, TNCs, and work with field to resolve.

  • Work with EEO Labor and Employment Counsel on employment related filings and document responses accordingly.

  • Develop knowledge of human resources laws such as: FCRA, Fair Chance, ADA, EEO, I-9, e-Verify, and FLSA.

  • Other duties as assigned.

HR INTERN REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or studying toward a degree in human resource management or related field.

  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is beneficial.

  • Proven experience working in an office environment.

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
