Our client is an industry/global leader in fragrances as well as taste. Their sole purpose is to provide customers with a broad range of solutions that match the demand for clean, organic and natural ingredients. This company is looking for a Flavor Technician to join the team. This is an amazing opportunity to work with one of the biggest companies in the flavor and fragrances industry.
Pay : $20-$25/hr
Shift : M-F, 7:30-4 or 8-4:30
Responsibilities
Prepare seasoning samples for various purposes, including customer briefs and quality control.
Serve as the main contact for providing seasoning samples to other departments.
Maintain formula records and organize raw material stock in the lab.
Keep a well-organized collection of seasonings for quick access to meet requests.
Assist in seasoning food products and provide feedback on performance.
Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment in accordance with EH&S policies and good laboratory practices
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or HS diploma
Communicates clearly in written and verbal form
Basic knowledge of lab equipment and handling chemicals used to perform lab functions#LI-DNP
