Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and passionate individual to join our prestigious organization as a Housing Community Manager.
As a Housing Community Manager, you will oversee all facets of daily operations, ensuring compliance with housing laws and providing exceptional service to our residents. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with HUD regulations, provisions, and Fair Housing requirements and possess a strong understanding of property management best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the residential community and ensure all housing policies and procedures are adhered to.
Understanding, adhering to, and promoting HUD regulations and Fair Housing rules.
Reviewing tenant applications, conducting background checks, and preparing leasing agreements.
Managing resident relations, including conflict resolution and service request follow-ups.
Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts for various services when necessary.
Handling community finances, including collecting rent, managing property budget, and reporting on financial performance.
Conducting property inspections to ensure compliance with housing standards and protocols.
Planning and coordinating community events to promote a positive living environment for the residents.
Responding to residents' inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management or a relevant field.
Proven experience as a Community Manager, Housing Manager, or a similar role.
Solid understanding and experience with HUD regulations and Fair Housing requirements.
An understanding of real estate law and sector's rules and regulations.
Proficiency in property management software and computer systems (Microsoft Office).
Strong interpersonal skills for building and nurturing tenant and vendor relationships.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to handle crises calmly and efficiently.
Professional acumen and a customer-oriented approach.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
