Robert Half Community Housing Manager in Cincinnati, Ohio

Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and passionate individual to join our prestigious organization as a Housing Community Manager.

As a Housing Community Manager, you will oversee all facets of daily operations, ensuring compliance with housing laws and providing exceptional service to our residents. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with HUD regulations, provisions, and Fair Housing requirements and possess a strong understanding of property management best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the residential community and ensure all housing policies and procedures are adhered to.

  • Understanding, adhering to, and promoting HUD regulations and Fair Housing rules.

  • Reviewing tenant applications, conducting background checks, and preparing leasing agreements.

  • Managing resident relations, including conflict resolution and service request follow-ups.

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts for various services when necessary.

  • Handling community finances, including collecting rent, managing property budget, and reporting on financial performance.

  • Conducting property inspections to ensure compliance with housing standards and protocols.

  • Planning and coordinating community events to promote a positive living environment for the residents.

  • Responding to residents' inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management or a relevant field.

  • Proven experience as a Community Manager, Housing Manager, or a similar role.

  • Solid understanding and experience with HUD regulations and Fair Housing requirements.

  • An understanding of real estate law and sector's rules and regulations.

  • Proficiency in property management software and computer systems (Microsoft Office).

  • Strong interpersonal skills for building and nurturing tenant and vendor relationships.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Ability to handle crises calmly and efficiently.

  • Professional acumen and a customer-oriented approach.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
