Job Title: CNC Maintenance Technician35/HR**

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling CNC machinery for both mill and lathe departments. This position offers a career advancement opportunity to lead/supervisor role within one to one and a half years.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery for mill and lathe departments.

  • Perform preventive maintenance on machinery.

  • Conduct electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

  • Handle PLC troubleshooting on machines.

  • Repair and fabricate industrial machinery parts.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

  • Work with electrical systems including 3-phase, Fanuc, and Fagor systems.

  • Perform welding and other mechanical repairs.

Essential Skills

  • 5-6 years of experience in troubleshooting industrial machinery, preferably CNC machines.

  • Strong electrical skills with a focus on 60/40 electrical to mechanical.

  • PLC experience for troubleshooting machines.

  • Own tools for maintenance work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous leadership experience leading a maintenance team is a plus.

  • Experience in precision gear and transmission design and manufacturing.

Work Environment

You will work the first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, in a machine shop environment with milling and lathe departments. Some areas are cleaner than others, and the facility has larger milling machines that turn parts for various industries such as Oil/Gas, Military, Transportation, Marine, and Wind. You will receive training and mentorship under the current maintenance supervisor.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
