Certified Medical Technologist III, Second Shift, Microbiology Department UC Health is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Technologist III for the microbiology department for second shift at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The Medical Technologist III performs routine and complex laboratory analyses, identifies, and corrects problems developing alternatives, when necessary, stays current in laboratory theory and technique, and assumes responsibility for problem solving. Requires the exercise of independent judgment and interpretation.   • Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory/medical technology science with at least one year with high complexity testing, or, Associate degree in a clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technology program with at least three years with high complexity testing.
  • MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or MLT(ASCP) certification or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to professionally interact with patients, visitors, physicians and staff.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills including superior communication skills (verbal, written, and listening).
  • Must have good analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task effectively in a stressful environment.
