Role Summary

As part of the Synchrony Pricing COE, you will participate in managing deal processes across all five sales platforms. This includes new opportunities, renewals, and contract compliance with deal approvals.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support Platform Pricing COE leader and team in managing deal processes across all five sales platforms, and for select opportunities, lead the pricing process.

  • Support Platform Pricing COE leader and team in analyzing and validating deal economic structures for renewal and business development opportunities. Develop appropriate economic sensitivities for 2nd line, Working Group, Investment Risk Sub-Committee, and regulatory requirements.

  • Support and execute on key projects to improve the transparency and sustainability of the pricing process (e.g. model enhancements, client compensation analysis, multi-product pricing).

  • For deals assigned, work with cross-functional deal team (Credit, Marketing, Sales/Business Development) in developing assumptions and ensure all assumptions are aligned and sufficiently challenged.

  • Participate in pricing discussions in Working Group and Investment Risk Sub-Committee meetings.

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or similar field, and a minimum 4 years progressive financial experience or in lieu of degree, minimum of 8 years of progressive financial experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of FP&A or pricing analysis experience.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to identify key trends, quantify analysis and recommend changes to meet objectives.

  • High level of proficiency working with Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to communicate well and present ideas in a clear and concise manner.

  • Proven process skills including a willingness and ability to drive change.

  • Resourceful, independent, ability to work in a fast-pasted dynamic environment with competing deal priorities & stakeholders

  • Ability to work well in a team environment and to effectively interact with more senior leaders across various functions.

  • Knowledge of Consumer finance preferred.

Grade/Level: 11

The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
