Position Title: Workday Test Manager
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Expected Duration: 6+ Months Contract with Strong Possibility of Extension.

Pay Range: \$45.61/hr. - \$46/hr.

Job description:
Seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead a Workday migration testing project. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in data migration testing from PeopleSoft systems to Workday, particularly within the HR and Payroll modules, utilizing tools such as SQR.
This role requires strong project management capabilities, functional knowledge of Workday, and the ability to support the client in updating their HR systems.( Payroll Absence Tracking, Core HR, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Reporting and Analytics, Workforce planning).
The Workday Test lead will act independently and advise on or manage the solution configuration for large complex Workday engagements. He/she will provide subject matter expertise supporting delivery, testing and both presales and post-production engagements.
The Workday Lead will be an important customer spokesperson for the Workday Practice. The Lead will help create strong business cases supported by compelling value propositions and will demonstrate how customers can realize substantial value by deploying the Workday HCM solution.
Could be a part of implementation team supporting Workday functional system setup, testing and Integrations or Data Migration streams.
He/she will provide subject matter expertise across multiple HR domains and contribute world-class approaches to discovery, fit-gap, process design and reengineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Workday migration testing project from inception to completion.
Data Migration testing experience from PeopleSoft systems to Workday using SQR, other tools
Functional Automation testing using Selenium, etc.
API testing using RestAssured, ReadyAPI
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data migration from PeopleSoft and related application to Workday.
Utilize SQR and other tools to perform thorough data migration testing.
Provide project management support, including planning, scheduling, and reporting.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Provide functional expertise in Workday, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
Demonstrates substantial project implementation experience in one or more of the following Workday functional areas :Payroll Absence Tracking, Core HR, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Reporting and Analytics, Workforce planning
Independently work on technical design, configuration, deployment and maintenance of Workday modules
As a Functional expert, you\'ll be expected to work as individual or part of a team helping to solve complex problems from strategy to execution.
Strong consulting skills, handling customer requirements & expectations
Serve as a strong consultative partner to our clients.
Analyse, design and help build new solutions as per customer requirements and build complex custom repor s for our clients.
Plan, design and optimise security roles configurations for each client to support User Based Securities in Workday
Provide support and guidance in system integrations from an architecture & hands on support role to manage (in & outbound integration issues and resolution)
Stay abreast of new functionality becoming available in Workday and drive client adoption and deployment of newly released features and functions.
Strong understanding of Workday security architecture and how to maintain it.
Lead one or multiple functional domains.
Coordinate with consultants from offshore locations.
Organize discovery workshops across functional domains
Business analysis representing a specific area(s) of functional expertise e.g. Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, Absence, Time tracking, etc
Work as a part of a project team to support architecture, scoping, implementation and post-production phases of the projects
Work with the Customer to id
