Actalent Structural Project Manager in Chicago, Illinois
Job Title: Structural Project ManagerJob Description
Participate in planning, cost development, management, and scheduling for assigned projects.
Inspect and review structural design calculations, plans, and reports.
Ensure compliance with quality standards through quality assurance and quality control reviews.
Design box culverts, head walls, and retaining walls.
Complete analysis of bridges and box culverts.
Focus on bridge design for approximately 90% of projects.
Essential Skills
**Required to live in the Midwest
Experience in project management and managing a bridge/structural project life cycle.
Proficiency in bridge design using AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation.
4+ years of relevant structural engineering experience .
Familiarity with designing box culverts, head walls, and retaining walls.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must currently hold an SE (Structural Engineering) license or be eligible to obtain one.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote position, with occasional project visits required 3-4 times per year based on project needs. The team is small, with just one other person in the department, providing a close-knit working environment. The company advocates for work-life balance and offers a flexible working schedule. Paid time off is based on industry tenure. Reimbursement for SE exam fees if applicable.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $50.96/hr.
