Job Title: Specifications Coordinator

Job Description

The Specifications Coordinator is responsible for developing and revising finished product, and ingredient specifications for labeling, procurement accuracy, and regulatory compliance. This position is part of the Quality group, working closely with cross-functional teams including product development and regulatory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and revise specifications for finished goods, including ingredients, graphics, and recipes in the SAP PLM system.

  • Collaborate with product development teams during product reformulation.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance by working closely with regulatory teams.

  • Maintain accuracy in labeling and procurement processes.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within the food industry, preferably in quality, R&D, or product development.

  • Experience with FDA regulations and labeling requirements.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience working with SAP is a significant advantage.

Work Environment

Flexible work environment with options for hybrid or remote work. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, with flexibility for 7 AM to 3 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM. The team culture is collaborative, offering growth opportunities, including international exposure.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
