Job Description
Will provide technology-specific support to Solution Architects and Sales by creating Pre Statements of Work (PSOW) and managing project expectations. This role involves developing effective working relationships with sellers, business partners, and the service delivery team while providing input on customer trends and market demands.
Responsibilities
Develop trusted partnerships with Solution Architects and Sales to support Data Center Solutions and related opportunities.
Be responsive to Solution Architects, Sales, and customers.
Facilitate training for sales teams.
Manage the peer review process for converged technology opportunities.
Provide feedback to management concerning industry trends and opportunities.
Participate in pre-sales activities including conference calls, meetings, and emails.
Stay up-to-date on relevant technology solutions through training and personal development.
Participate in team projects and miscellaneous team activities.
Collaborate with the delivery team for accuracy of service opportunities.
Provide pre-sales services support for data center solutions opportunities.
Establish and maintain relationships with Solution Architects, technical leads, and business partners.
Communicate with customers and potential customers, create and deliver polished Statements of Work (SOWs) and quotes.
Provide timely and accurate work estimates for customers.
Understand services methodology and interpret it for internal and external customers.
Participate in internal and external kick-off meetings.
Become an expert on the available data center solutions portfolio.
Facilitate and provide feedback on change order requests.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
College education
Technology industry experience
Professional or managed services industry experience
Strong time management skills
Knowledge of Server, Storage, Virtualization, and understanding of data center workings
Ability to proactively collaborate and build relationships
Strong oral and written communication skills
Pipeline management skills
Ability to balance multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs
Ability to compose detailed reports and make presentations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to understand and apply instructions
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize
Ability to apply common sense in performing job
Ability to travel as needed
Work Environment
100% remote and equipment will be provided. The working hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM CST.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
