Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Technology Architect for the Legal, Compliance, and Privacy Technology Team to provide strategic analysis and enterprise-wide technology experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Facilitates and leads research, design, development, and integration of emerging technology architectures to align with business strategy, goals, and objectives.
Architecture
Leads development of enterprise-wide conceptual technology architectures, strategies and roadmaps to deliver strategic business capabilities. Creates architectural principles to support business goals including rollout and integration with existing and new legal, compliance, and privacy technologies and application. Consults with senior business line managers, Product Owners, other Technology teams, IS, and Risk to develop IT frameworks that support business applications. Evaluates and makes recommendations regarding selected technologies. Participates in evaluation, selection, and application of new and emerging tools and techniques. Partners to assist Product Owners to determines appropriate strategies regarding long-term application direction.
Modeling
Understands and models key business capabilities, processes, relationships, and impact of technology on business requirements and goals. Formulates and diagrams conceptual architectures and communicates architectural vision, goals and design objectives to multiple audiences. Extensive understanding of advanced and multi-dimensional troubleshooting, recommendations, and multi-platform issue resolution for highly complex systems across interdependent technology solutions and services.
Vendor Management
Maintains relationships with key vendors, primarily focusing on potential new technologies and roadmaps. Provides feedback to vendors to ensure continued architectural compatibility with U.S. Bank technology systems and applications.
Consulting
Guides and consults with IT, IS and business management regarding use of existing and new technologies and associated services. Evaluates compliance with current and future technology standard. Identifies risks and solutions associated with current or new technology. Ensures compliance with enterprise architecture and technology standards. Provides consulting targeted to align business requirements with technology solutions. Consults on integration and conversion activities. Identifies risks associated with current or new technology use. Will collaborate with senior managers in developing IT vision and strategy

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-At least 10 years experience with the concepts, philosophies and tools behind the design of applications, information and underlying information technologies.
-At least 10 years experience with developing and implementing applications.

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $133,365.00 - $156,900.00 - $172,590.00
