As a Senior Manager, you will have the ownership to develop architecture strategy to modernize Oracle / Cloud platforms to achieve highest resiliency and performance, you will lead a team of very hardworking and motivated database administrators to support critically important Oracle and Cloud databases which are critical data assets of the company. Our team continually innovates to deliver digital solutions to support complex, dynamic operations.

  • Lead Oracle and Cloud database administration team.

  • Coach, develop, and inspire team members to develop and sustain a hard-working team.

  • Provide sound technical decision-making and guidance to deliver sustainable, high-quality products.

  • Be a trusted inspiring leader with application team and business partners to lead backend Oracle and Cloud databases.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience as Oracle DBA and / or Cloud DBA.

  • 5+ years of experience as technical manager or other leadership role.

  • Experience managing and implementing enterprise-scale, operationally critical databases.

  • Strong understanding of database administration best practices, design patterns, and standards.

  • Provides leadership for future requirements related to enterprise Data Architecture, Data Modeling and Data Integrity.

  • Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in DBMS and related Cloud technology

  • Provide support in database design and application development.

  • Provides thought leadership and management expertise on the architecture, design, development and implementation of innovative data solutions that address business problems and help achieve strategic goals.

  • Partners with project teams, management, and business partners on different aspects of data management and database design and provides DBA support accordingly.

  • Seeks innovative ways to improve efficiency and quality related to data management and administration.

  • Validates and reviews detailed database project work plans for complex technology projects involving cross functional teams.

  • Manages risks and provides timely status reports and project updates to stakeholders.

  • Works in partnership with the technical teams and business partners to deliver database functionality on time with required quality.

  • Takes an active role in promoting and implementing a progressive, forward moving organization and culture.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Working knowledge or experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard Technology

  • Working knowledge or experience with AWS MySQL / PostgreSQL

  • MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or other related field preferred
