Stryker Senior Manager, Government Sales in Chicago, Illinois
Sr. Manager, Government Sales will lead, manage, and develop a team of government account managers. This leader is a commercial focused, high functioning collaborator, adept at indirectly influencing across business functions.
Leads and develops a team of sales managers within the Stryker Government Customer Solutions organization.
Responsible for developing a strong team culture and driving proactive, solutions-oriented business practices.
Responsible for setting strategy for growth and long-term success within the Government healthcare system.
Delivers creative purchase solutions for the government customer by identifying strategic contract avenues or by developing site specific leasing/rental programs.
Works with business leaders across Stryker to understand how the government team can support their respective product portfolio’s.
Directly responsible for creating and implementing training and education platforms for our supported businesses.
Identifies and orchestrates marketing needs to support the Government sales team.
Responsible for setting strategy and driving collaboration with their Government contracting and customer service partners.
Conducts internal and external business reviews to ensure a proactive relationship with our partners.
Education & Special Trainings
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field required
Qualifications & Experience
Experience
10+ total years of industry experience with historical success working cross-divisionally and collaboratively required
Minimum of 5 years in medical device sales, medical device strategic sales and/or marketing roles preferred
Demonstrated performance in management and/or leadership positions
Experience with complex customers
Role Qualifications
Must have excellent time management skills with ability to use independent judgment to prioritize effectively
Must be able to work with clinical and business personnel, both internal and external to Stryker. Experience with government customers ideal.
Must be able to analyze and resolve issues using independent judgment
Must be able to work well independently and without direct supervision
Must be able to communicate concisely telephonically text and via email
Required proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Physical Requirements

Compensation
- $160,000- $264,000salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. .
